Therapy for Teens in Arlington, VA

A place to feel heard, understand yourself, and navigate life’s challenges.

Being a teenager can feel overwhelming. Between school, friendships, family expectations, and figuring out who you are, there can be a lot to manage. I offer a supportive space where teens can talk openly, explore their feelings, and develop tools for handling stress with greater confidence.

What we can work on together

  • Anxiety, overthinking, and school stress

  • Depression, loneliness, and low motivation

  • Self-esteem, perfectionism, and fear of failure

  • Friendships, relationships, and family conflict

  • Emotional regulation and coping skills

  • ADHD-related challenges

  • Life transitions, grief, and difficult experiences

  • Athletic pressure, performance anxiety, and burnout

What Therapy with me looks like

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in your teen’s strengths. I take time to build trust and understand what matters to them, allowing room for conversation, creativity, and practical skill-building.

I draw from approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy skills to help teens understand patterns, manage strong emotions, and communicate their needs. Together, we set goals that feel meaningful to them.
